After receiving Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering at George Mason University, Virginia, USA in 1994 and 1995 respectively, He got his Executive MBA at San Diego State University in 2001. Currently, he is working towards his PhD in Economics at Istanbul Technical University. A couple of years after starting his professional career in 1995 working as a radio planning and optimization consultant at LCC, LLC in Oregon and Arizona for T-Mobile and Sprint, he joined Qualcomm, San Diego, USA as an R&D manager. In 1999, he joined Ericsson Business Unit in San Diego where he worked as an R&D Director and a Total Project Manager leading the development of Ericsson’s CDMA2000 Radio Access Networks product line. He joined Ericsson Turkey in 2005 and since then he has been working with new technologies in Ericsson Radio Access Networks. Currently, he is heading the Strategic Network Evolution to 5G and Transport Solutions within Ericsson Market Area Middle East and Africa. He is married with two children with ages 10 years and 18 months.
